When Relationships Get Complicated, You Don’t Have to Sort Them Out Alone
Most of my work these days centers on couples, families, and the partnerships people build at home and at work.
Sometimes, you arrive carrying conflict that keeps circling back to the same place.
Sometimes, one of you wants to separate, and the other wants to repair.
And sometimes, things are basically fine, and you simply want them to be better.
Whatever brought you here, I help people work through the interpersonal knots that arise in marriages, families, or businesses.
I also work with family subsystems where the tension lives: siblings, parents, and adult children, as well as the many other combinations a family produces.
If you want to understand yourself more clearly and live a more fulfilling life, that’s good work, too.

The Family Business Is Where My Experience Is Rare
When a family runs a business together, the legal, financial, and personal sit on top of each other.
I’ve spent my career in both worlds: clinical psychology and business consulting. That combination is uncommon, and it’s exactly what these situations call for.
Whether you’re a multi-generational family business, siblings in partnership, or a couple who works side by side, I help you separate the relationship from the enterprise so both can hold.
You get someone who understands the balance sheet and the bloodline, and how the two keep pulling on each other.
Good Therapy Has a Beginning, a Middle, and an End
I start with where you are.
Almost always, that means an assessment, formal or informal, over one to four sessions, so we focus on the issues that actually matter rather than the ones that shout loudest.
From there, we build a plan: the quick wins to pursue first and the longer work that creates lasting change.
For couples, the first session is to get to know each other and provide an overview.
Then I meet with each of you individually, and we reconvene to focus on what matters most to you both.
Often, you’ll complete a relationship assessment at home and review it together with me, so we can decide where to aim for fast progress and where to play the long game.
Therapy isn’t “set it and forget it.” Anything worthwhile requires work. What I can promise is structure, technique, and a sympathetic ear that listens to both sides.

You’ll Have a Place to Say the Hard Things
I provide a safe space to discuss difficult issues, the kind of conversations that go sideways at the kitchen table.
You’ll learn skills and techniques, practice them between sessions, and reinforce what works so the change holds after our work together ends.
I won’t promise magic or an overnight fix.
What I will tell you is that people do feel better after working with me, and my bet is that the spark you’re looking for is still there.
